Leadership Practice Development Model

Leadership Practice Development Model

This model supports a cognitive behavior based approach.

This helps us to be very concrete and specific about what behaviors each leader being coached needs to be exhibiting.  Specifically, we look at behaviors in the context of what those around them and the organization need them to be exhibiting, versus what may be currently exhibited.

We will assess those, and create a plan to align the behaviors they need for success to be consistent and a part of their leadership practice.

Scope of Process: Executive Coaching

Initial
Coaching

(LEARN & PLAN Phases)

  1. Initial coaching session with XYZ’s to capture self feedback on behaviors/practices.

  2. Meetings with additional internal leaders on current state behaviors/practices and future needed behaviors.

  3.  Creation of action plan for executive effectiveness.

Ongoing Coaching

(PRACTICE, EVALUATE & CHANGE Phases)

  1.  Executive coaching sessions for XYZ based on self feedback and action plan from initial meeting.

  2. Ride along observation day (can be multiple ½ days) of- in play leadership practices.

  3. Sessions can be set based on XYZ’s needs in increments that work best for them (weekly or bi-weekly).

Leadership Updates

(EVALUATE)

  1. Executive Coaching updates for you (and key business leaders as needed) to give feedback on overall improvements and challenge areas as they fit with the organization.
